The Seattle Sea Scouts of Boys and Girls is a group with two chapters—one for young girls ages 8 – 12 and one for young boys ages 8 – 12—of scouts. Modeled after the boy scouts and the girl scouts groups, the SSSBG aims to provide an environment for young boys and girls to learn about themselves and serve their community.

The Sea Scouts learn by doing. They discover passions and talents in supportive settings with other boys and girls. The girl Sea Scouts are led by adult female counselors and leaders, and the boy Sea Scouts are led by adult male counselors and leaders. The Sea Scouts take action to better their city, their community, and their world.

Along their journey, they gain skills in the areas of leadership, life skills, and the outdoors.
